1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are commonly used to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, or track your activity across sites for advertising. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, do the same kind of job and are covered by this policy too.

2. What we use today

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use social-media pixels or ad networks. Here is everything this website currently uses:

• →Your cookie choice — whether you accepted or declined optional cookies is saved in your browser's local storage (under the name “belsoft-cookie-consent”). It stays on your device and is not sent to us or any third party.
• →Live chat (Crisp) — our chat widget loads with the site and may set cookies or local-storage entries to keep your chat session and recognize you if you come back to the conversation. These are functional, they are set by Crisp, and they are not controlled by the banner. If you would rather not have them, block them in your browser; the rest of the site keeps working, but chat may not.
• →Website analytics (Vercel Analytics) — see section 4. It is cookieless.

Our forms (contact, booking, and job and internship applications) do not set cookies, and we do not use a third-party CAPTCHA or tracking service on them.

3. Our cookie consent banner

When you first visit this site, you may see a banner asking about optional cookies, such as analytics. Today we do not run any optional, cookie-based tools, so accepting or declining does not change what runs in your browser. The banner exists so that, if we introduce optional cookies in future, they will only be enabled for visitors who accepted. Declining, or not answering, never blocks core site functionality.

4. Website analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to this website, such as which pages are visited and roughly how much traffic we get. Vercel Analytics is cookieless: it does not set cookies or use persistent device identifiers to track individual visitors, so it is unaffected by the consent banner.

5. Other third-party services

When you submit our contact form, book a call, or send a job or internship application, the request is processed server-side by Resend (email delivery) and, for bookings, Google Calendar and Google Meet (scheduling and video meetings). Those interactions do not set a cookie in your browser. Fonts are served from our own site, not from a third-party font service. For what happens to the information you send, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

You can use your browser's privacy settings to block or delete cookies and local storage at any time. Because this website does not rely on cookies for its core functionality, this will not affect your ability to browse it. If you clear your browser's site data, the banner will appear again on your next visit.

7. Changes to this policy

If we introduce new cookies or similar technologies, for example for analytics, authentication, or preference storage, we will update this page with a revised effective date and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.
